I’m terrified of teenagers. Some people are afraid of heights, some are afraid of spiders, some people are afraid of large crowds, but me, it’s being around people around the age of 12-20. So when I was asked to shoot Delwood’s senior portraits, I’m not going to lie, my palms got a little sweaty and my heart rate increased. I came to our photoshoot with the expectation of eye rolls, a bit of attitude and the idea that I was “so not cool”. But when I arrived, I was greeted instead with a smile, a bit of silliness and a few friends. I never knew a high school graduate would be easier to photograph than a toddler, but Delwood was so laid back and chill it made the session a breeze. Not only did we get some awesome shots that I hope he will treasure forever, it also turns out I may not even be afraid of teenagers any more! Favorites below!
